 Brazil - SOUTHEAST
SOUTHEAST - "The Thrilling Circuit"

This is the region which epitomizes Brazil: endless white sandy beaches and year-round summer sun, exotic nightlife which lasts till dawn and an exuberance which never ends, all in a lush tropical setting. The Southeast includes Brazil's two largest cities, Rio de Janeiro, a vibrant, lively city which never sleeps and São Paulo a busy, modern city and the center of Brazil's business and industry district. The Southeast is divided into two distinct areas: the Central Plateau , which has spring-like weather year-round and average temperatures between the high fifties and the low eighties, and the Coastal Tropics (the area between the coast and the mountains), which receive brief rain showers throughout the year and have average temperatures between the high sixties and the high eighties. Rainfall averages 57 inches per year.
